Prohibited Products Policy

1. Status of this policy

This is a pre-launch baseline and not an exhaustive statement of the law. Category-specific rules, seller-country restrictions and a legal review are still required before live sales.

2. Prohibited products

• Illegal, stolen, counterfeit or intellectual-property-infringing goods.
• Recalled, unsafe, defective or non-compliant products, including products missing required warnings or traceability information.
• Weapons, explosives, ammunition and items primarily intended to cause injury.
• Controlled drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription-only products and unlawful medical claims.
• Hazardous materials, regulated chemicals or batteries that cannot lawfully be listed, stored or shipped.
• Human remains, live animals, endangered-species products or unlawfully sourced animal products.
• Hateful or exploitative material, sexual services, and unlawful explicit content.
• Personal data, identity documents, financial accounts, payment instruments, digital credentials or access to accounts.
• Any product barred by sanctions, export controls, customs rules or applicable local law.

3. Restricted categories

Food, cosmetics, supplements, medical devices, electronics, children’s products, protective equipment, alcohol, tobacco or nicotine products and other regulated categories may require prior written approval, evidence and category-specific controls. Availability in the product form does not mean a category has been approved for live sale.

4. Seller safety duties

• Confirm the product is permitted in every destination offered.
• Provide manufacturer and, where required, EU responsible-person details, product identifiers, warnings and compliance markings.
• Monitor safety notices and immediately report incidents, recalls or new risks to Seekersplace.
• Preserve supply-chain and compliance evidence and provide it promptly on request.

5. Enforcement

Seekersplace may block, remove, warn on or preserve evidence about an offer, notify affected buyers, cooperate with authorities, suspend a seller and hold funds where lawful and proportionate. Sellers can appeal through the Complaints & Appeals Procedure unless disclosure would be prohibited or would undermine an investigation.
